Kigoma tan soap enterprises(ktse) was registered in 2009,although it had started operation since 1990.its deals with making of Bar soap and soap detergent and supplying them.
Its operation are at SIDO Industrial estate within the kigoma municipality.The enterprise produces toilet soaps,herbal and liquid soaps as well as shampoos for their saloons.
Mr.Tanu kahambi who is the owner of the enterprises attended soap training conducted by SIDO Kigoma in 2007,after training mr.Kahambi established his small scale soap making business.In 2009 mr.Kahambi was given an area by SIDO Kigoma where he started doing soap making and in 2010 he was given loan of TSH.2000000/= by SIDO Kigoma adviced him to engage in other production of soap detergent and he took the advice by producing other soap detergent.
SIDO kigoma started inviting him to business exhibitions that were under SIDO whereby he attended them hence managed to learn packaging techniques from other enterpreneurs as well as opening new markets of his products to other regions in the country.
Due to this, Tansoap managed to expand its business through opening up to new markets and increasing its profit.Through this Tan Soap has managed to create various employment opportuniities to other people as well and is one of the greatest role model at SIDO Kigoma.
